The Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) is Japan’s premier platform for advancing Africa–Asia cooperation. As TICAD IX draws near, Nigeria is unveiling a bold new era of bilateral collaboration through the Nigeria–Japan Trade & Development Corridor (NJTDC) — a transformative framework for sustainable trade, investment, and innovation.
Scheduled for 2025 under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, TICAD IX will spotlight economic transformation, human security, and innovation as the key drivers of Africa’s development in partnership with Asia.
In alignment with this vision, the NJTDC will host an exclusive Nigeria–Japan Diplomatic Dinner & Business Forum as an official side event during TICAD IX — bringing together government leaders, business executives, and development partners to forge high-impact partnerships for the future.
